Hi, I'm Emilee

Hi, I'm Emilee

I'm a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #147663) supporting adults, adolescents, and children navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, childhood trauma, individual or family medical challenges, and life transitions.

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. I strive to create a warm, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are and talk openly about what's feeling heavy, confusing, or difficult to carry on your own.

We'll take time to understand what you're experiencing, explore what's getting in the way, and build tools for greater emotional well-being. My hope is that our work together creates a safe space for you to feel more grounded, supported, and connected to your own strengths and resilience.

Anxiety and emotional overwhelm

Anxiety can show up as persistent worry, overthinking, difficulty relaxing, emotional overwhelm, or feeling constantly on edge. Together, we'll work to better understand these patterns and develop tools to help you feel more grounded and in control.

Trauma and medical trauma

I support individuals and families navigating experiences that feel overwhelming, frightening, or life-altering, including medical trauma, chronic illness, hospitalization, and serious health conditions. Therapy can provide space to process these experiences and their emotional impact.

Grief, loss, and life transitions

Whether you're navigating the loss of a loved one, changes in family structure, divorce, separation, custody transitions, or another significant life change, therapy can help you process difficult emotions and adjust to new circumstances with support.

Children and adolescents

Children and teens often communicate stress differently than adults. I support young people experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, behavioral concerns, school-related stress, family changes, grief, and challenges within peer or family relationships. I work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to strengthen connection and support growth.
